BODY TREATMENT

Traditional Massage
Relax with a full body massage that begins by gently stretching the muscles to loosen up and warm the body.  Heated compresses are then placed at specific points on the body to improve blood circulation and alleviate muscle tension.  Firm palm strokes using aromatic oils apply more pressure to the body from the feet upwards.  Finish with the Hawaiian “loami-loami” to help boost your energy level.  A serving of Sutra Maya’s own concoction of ginger tea leaves you feeling completely relaxed, body and mind.

Sauna (Herbal / FIR)
Experience a steaming treatment that relaxes tired muscles and acts to rid the body of toxins using a variety of herbal remedies available for different ailments.  With the correct herb, steaming improves blood circulation, relieves stress, warms the body, expels excessive wind and burns off excess fat.  For the ladies, steaming helps improve hygiene by having a cleansing effect and eliminating body odours.  A sauna chamber specially designed for this treatment ensures total privacy.  For optimum results, this should be followed by the body scrub.

Body Scrub – Coffee/Roselle/Coconut/Pineapple/Cinnamon
Indulge in a natural treatment that starts with a relaxing sauna.  Then choose from a selection of scrubs, depending on your preference and skin type, which is applied manually to the whole body.  This treatment is known to overcome poor blood circulation and have beneficial effects on more mature skin as it helps to slough off dead skin cells and regenerate new ones. This is then followed by an invigorating shower and application of mask that acts to tighten the pores and soften the skin.

Body Mask – Yoghurt / Roselle / Soya
The application of mask is as an accompaniment to the body scrub.  It acts to tighten the pores and soften the skin.  Only natural ingredients are used to ensure taut, healthy skin.

Floral / Milk  Bath
Pamper yourself with a thorough soaking and bubble bath of your choice.  The Jacuzzi-like tub provides a total cleansing and rose petals, milk or salt and aromatic oils added to the bath helps rid body odours.

Foot Bath
This is ideal for a quick relaxation of tired feet.  Soaking the feet in warm water and sea salt helps relieve sore muscles.  A light foot massage to reflex points on the feet helps stimulate blood circulation to the whole body.

Hair Massage (Coconut / Hibiscus)
For your crowning glory, warm coconut milk and olive oil are soothingly massaged into the hair to condition it, making hair stronger and enhancing its lustre.  The extract of the hibiscus flower is used in traditional hair treatment to darken hair and make it light and manageable.  For a wonderfully refreshing feeling, ice-cool hair cream is massaged into the hair as a remedy for heavy heads.

Head & Shoulder Massage
Experience an excellent process of restoring energy by focusing on treating stiff and tired neck and shoulder muscles.  The pressure applied to the muscles acts to improve blood circulation and reduces stress and tension.


FACIAL TREATMENT

Normal Facial
The secret of natural beauty is revealed in our fine selection of facial treatments and formulations containing aloe vera, mint, collagen, jojoba, grape seed oil and other natural ingredients. Deep cleansing to remove dirt and excess oil, gentle exfoliation of impurities, revitalizing facial massage, steaming and extraction of white and black heads, tightening and moisturizing mask, refreshing toner and nourishing moisturizer all contribute towards a more beautiful you.  The added treat of a relaxing head and shoulder massage and a warm brew of ginger tea complete the beauty pampering.

Sinus Facial
A natural healing facial focused on the caring for your sinusitis.  Treatment consists of a normal facial followed by the aromatic facial candling of specific points on the face.

Pure Gold Facial
Delve into the beauty ritual of Cleopatra, who has been known to immerse herself in a mixture of gold dust, with our own specialized treatment.  The cleanser, toner and mask of this facial all contain pure (999.9) gold flakes and aloe vera that works to remove skin pigmentation and improve skin’s structure making it supple.  Fine lines are visibly diminished giving your face a smooth radiant glow.      

Facial Treatment (Vitamin C / Collagen)
This anti-ageing procedure acts to restore skin’s elasticity.  As part of a normal facial, the vitamin C or collagen serum is massaged into the skin until it is completely absorbed, leaving skin firm and revitalized.

Eye Treatment
Perfecting the facial, an eye mask is applied to lighten dark circles under the eyes and reduce puffiness.

Spa Manicure
Complete your grooming procedure with a gentle scrub and massage of your hands and finger nails followed by cuticle conditioning and shaping and nail filing and buffing.

Spa Pedicure
Put the spring back into your step with a deep soaking of the feet and light massage.  Toe nails are then trimmed and filed.
